Battery on 20vT

Anyone had their battery go on the ibiza cupra in under 3 years. Went out to start mine yesterday and first time it sounded like the battery was dead. Second time it turned over after a couple of turns. Noticed when I was driving it, that if I put the full beams on I got a pop through the stereo and the lcd on stereo flashed brighter. Seems like a kind of current surge. Has anyone else had problems like this? Does it sound like the battery. Really hope it is as Seat probably wont be able to work out what it is if it isn't the battery.

Have you checked the main battery ground??
Other wise take it to Kwik Fit or sim and get them to Drop Test the battery.

your alternator could be knackered?

Cheers for the replies. Think I may have had a loose fuse on the battery cover. Going to keep an eye on things over the next few days and see what happens.
