http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/smile.gif Finally the concessionaires in Holland have my new Leon Sport and it should be with me in the UK by 16th October, can't wait.

First thing I want to do is upgrade the standard CAT 2 alarm to CAT 1 to make sure I keep it having waited all this time.

I've seen the previous posts on the Clifford and Cobra systems, but it has been suggested to me that I should install a Sigma M34 system - £320 fitted. Down side is it doesn't work from the original fob.

Anybody managed to upgrade to CAT 1 and keep the original fob, if not any views on the Sigma system would be appreciated.

17 days and counting....

I think you may find that your new car will come with a cat 1 alarm as standard.

This mod, I belive, took place when SEAT removed the memory system on the electric front seats to upgrade the alarm software.

Please check this out before you make your mind up because I am not 100% sure. http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/smile.gif

ive just added a concept 500 to my 98 beezer not bothering about key fob. this is hardcore alarm with dual proximity to warn the buggers off b4 they get near ur car. on the serious plus side i now also have 3 immobilisers, the factory and 2 from clifford as well as a highly visual disklock to deter wannabe kids from trying it in belief alarm can be beaten. end of day its ur call and only factor is how much u wanna keep ur car http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/smile.gif
