also speak with Jabbasport and REVO dealer..
www.jabbasport.com and www.revotechnik.com for closest dealer
the performance is a bit of a givaway.. ;)
REVO can be switched back to std peformance mode for those dealer moments
i've been to jabbas a couple of times now (not as much as bill though :D )
and i can't speak highly enough of them.
they individually mapp every car (not generically as of some chips)
they produce the best beforming turbo upgrade package (bill's is an example of that)
And they really know there stuff, you only have to speak to Mike trueluck over the phone and he'll quite happly give you a break down of the cars anatomy. And all the professionals track 1.8 vt go there for modding.
my butty in wales shock_xe had a revo chipp and that was good too, at the same time as i had my jabba mapp. they were about the same performance but the jabba mapp is more aggressive i would of said.
One thing i forgot to mention i'd would advise you not to get a super chip. spikes in power feels good driving not good performance though (FURR COAT NO NICKERS)
:roflmao:

A Massive difference! :D
Both Jabba and Revo will probably get you nearer to 200bhp than 190 too :)

yep, the difference is amazing to be honest. its like a totally different car and once done, youll wonder how you put up with a std power cupra

Night and day difference... power will be around the 200 level usually unless your engine is a lemon... (it happens)
Torque however is going to be between 220-230lbft which is a 70-80lbft increase of stock.. You definately feel the extra 'shove'
Don't expect the engine to have much top end power tho, as the small K03 is ok for low to mid range power, but too small for high end.
Ride the torque and have fun.
If you fancy seeing what its like before commiting to spending... you could always try thew REVO trial which is FREE and lasts 5 hours ignition on time. Dealers located throught the UK and details of your nearest can be found on their website www.revotechnik.com

Compare it to doing a slow walse with a 60 year woman and going to gate crasher with yer m8's :D
buy the other comparisins i rate bill's cupra (driven jabba's IHI ibiza) as a vertical drop rollercoaster :-o

With an SPS 3 (Serial Port Switch) you can alter the boost and timing levels to set the car for different fuels and to set the car to more/less aggressive levels. It also has an anti theft feature on it and allows you to revert to stock, the switch isn't fixed to your car and is plugged into your OBDII (diagnostic plug located above your fuse box under the steering wheel) as and when you want to alter settings. With us doing software and plug in hardware there are no physical alterations to the car and the VAG diagnostic equipment can't see any software differences. The difference between stock and performance mode is massive, as Bill says why not try our trial software from your nearest Revo dealer.
I believe Jabba can fit a mechanical boost controller to your car to allow you to alter the level of performance on their chip.
Just curious, but when racing do you guys rev to the boost tails off (5500ish i believe) or to the limit?
Question applies to both chipped and not. Sorry for the hi-jack.

not that i ever do race but by the time i hit 5500 odd revs ive usually whooooped who im racing anyway :bleh:
but i just change when i feel i need to, dont really look at the rev counter to be honest, i'd say i rarely go to the redline though :D

You'll get faster times making use of the available power/torque rather than just hanging it out to the redline.
