Ok might seem like a strange combo for a header but here goes

first off K&N reading the revies/guides section on the K&N it reads

"First noticeable thing is the air scoop under the bumper, this pipe runs from under the car to right in front of the air filter, the old air intake was left so double the air intake. . . . . ."

am i right in thinking that when i remove the old air box i leave all the pipe work there or is the air scoop that is reffered to is a additional part????

on to tyre pressures i recently took off my 17" wheels for a set of OZ 16" what would be the tyre pressures as for some reason when you by aftermarket alloys tyre pressures are unknown

thanks

k&n induction kit i presume?,remove air box,fit filter, make yer own cold air feed from some good quality pipe/hose,run it down to the front splitter on the car and bobs yer uncle.
does this kit have a heat sheild?if not you will be sucking in some hot air from the engine bay as well as the nice cool air from yer cold air feed, get some ally sheet and bend/fabricate/bodge a heat sheild for it,unless it has one already

hows that?

With regards to your tyre pressures, you want to visit www.michelin.co.uk . You will find all you want there.
I work with tyre pressure checking and inflating equipment for the aviation and motorsport industry. Believe it or not, if your tyres are set at the wrong pressure, either over or under inflated, you will loose a max of 20% performance from your tyres, this resulting in more fuel consumption and less performance from your car!!!
Most people over look this area, but i can assure you having the exact tyre pressure will make a differnence to how your car runs ( fuel mpg, preformance, steering )

If you have cash to burn, then you want to buy a tyre pressure checking gauge from the company i work for, we manufacture one of the most accurate in the world. We supply motorsport companies such as Williams F1 Team, Demon Tweeks Motorsport, TWR, and Prodrive with them. But like i say, you need some serious cash in your pocket.
