I'll connect the amp in my Ibiza Cupra 20V through rear speaker cables, but where can I take the elect. antena output to turn the amp on as soon as the radio is turned on.

Do you have any ideas, please write it in detail I'm new in dismounting Ibiza Cupra :)

as you look at the power connector on the head unit the pin that is useually +V for the antenna is the second one in from the right on the top row if the tab on the connector is to the left..

please check this with a volt meter

Surfer_D im doing the same with my car 2 day and as u i dont want 2 take the head unit out.

i thought about running a remote direct from the battery using a switch 2 turn it on and off.

does any1 know if this is possible or do i have 2 use the remote from the head unit ?

You can also what i've done with the beeza Cupra , take the wire wich is connected to your cd-player in the boot. It also contains a wire to "turn-on" the cd-player....don't know wich color it was, but with a volt-meter easily found.

I just stripped the right wire a bit and attached(soldered) a extra one wich supplice my 2 amps with a on/off current.

You don't have to use the head units remote turn on.

Any 12v signal will do.

Tapping into CD player wiring looms sounds dodgy to me tho!

Id think it would be best to find something ignition fed and take a feed off that so the amp won't need a switch in line, it would just turn on when you start the car.

Hope this helps.
