im currently installing my amp 2 my 2000 beeza cupra and i've already hit 1 prob.

i cant find anywhere 2 run the power cable in2 the car !!
in my 16v there was a grommet behind the pollen filter which was fine, but in this car there is no grommet !!

does any1 else out there have any other idea's ?
i dont really want 2 get the drill out and make a hole.

1. In the passenger side footwell, under the dash there's a rubber gromet you can run the power cables through into the engine bay.
Obviously you'll have to lift back the carpet a bit to find it.

2. The power cable is run through the little rubber grommet directly behind the battery.

3. Just a word that there is an Earth Point in the boot on the left side, next to the light cluster.
Its a factory fitted one, which is nice.

i have found the grommet !!

upon removing pollen filter housing for further inspection i found that there was a grommet in the bulkhead as in my 16v but it had been painted over and sealed, from factory.

i was able 2 push this through and fit my power cable and then replace the grommet.
