My other half told me that her Almera's washer water stank, and when I tried it the smell made me gag. I've run some clean water through it and topped it up with nearly neat washer fluid, but does anyone have any other recommendations on what to do? My first thought was to remove the bottle and give it a good bleaching, but it's one of those where the bottle is tucked into the front wheel arch and you can only get to the filler neck from the top.

I tried looking for 'washer bottle disinfectant' on Ebay but nothing came up, is there any products that would do the job?

Chlorine tablets or Milton?

Probably needs a scrub / replacement

run a few bottles of the Renault perfumated Pink Screenwash through after too

not only does it work well anyway 'especially in hot weather' but it also seems to condition the flushed out tanks with a more friendly aroma in future
