How to change title of topic?

I have seen in the readers rides section people have updated/ammended their topic titles. How do you do this as I don't seem to have the option?

Click the edit / modify button on your 1st post in the thread, click go advanced, change title :thumbup:

Or double click in the forum index next to the title and edit it then
