been a bit bored this evening, so playing around with the gimp (http://www.gimp.org) , so have grafted on an FR lower bumper to my ibiza...

looks quite good I think...(the bumper that is, not my god awful job putting it there).

was before I got playing.
What do people think? :D
i had to look twice to notice the difference.

i had to look twice to notice the difference.
thats part of the idea... I don't want anything too obvious on the styling front. :D

the alternative to that, is to get a rage style front splitter...

(the car in this photo was silver, and it was taking too long to 'respray' it to eclipse blue).
Andy, aren't the FR grilles direct replacement for the Sport ones?
If so, get some as they look very nice :D

Good point, I hadn't noticed that...excellent, no need for respraying \o/
where would I order this from? through my dealer? (anyone got an up to date etka with part codes they can message me? :D)
I think I only want to do the lower grill though. (as in that photo).
Yeah a dealer will supply them, probably next day :)

TBH i really like the front bumper/splitter that rage has on his - it sorts out the front end (lookswise)

Another small, cheapish but very effective mod is to get the mudflaps mate. Its amazing how much better the car looks with them on

I suppose each to their own etc.. but I would never go out and spend money on mudflaps for styling.
Something I am saving up for however is a nice set of "17...any ideas would be very welcome.

Hello there,
I noticed your FR front bumper and thought it looked well smart, I was wondering if you could tell me know any websites or places where I might get a bumper to replace my original one with. Ideally I would want to replace it with the new cupra r bumper. Do you know if you can get one of these yet??
Any information you could provide me would be greatly appreciated.

Just pointing out that the Ibiza (not sure whether the same with the Cordoba) looks a hell of a lot better with the mudflaps fitted and its only a cheap thing which really does (IMO) make a BIG difference to the look of the car ;)

Cool. I personally don't agree but each to their own. If everybody had the same taste in styling etc things would get very boring.
I actually have a mate with an Ibiza who has added some Mud-Flaps. He also thinks its pretty sweet.
Nice one :)

You mean mudflaps also in the back?

Mudflaps are fine, but I just wanted to know if anyone out there knew any websites where I would be able to get some new bumpers (FR or Cupra-r) for my 53 plate ibiza. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

there is no Ibiza MK4 Cupra R.
Its the Cupra, and its not out yet.
when its out, you will be able to get its bumper from your dealer
can get FR grills from dealer too, I dont have part numbers, need to chase them about mine actually - will let you know when I have them.

checked up with dealer yesterday - the two side bits of the FR lower grill have come in, the centre bit is on backorder :(
