Hi All,
I have a leon tdi 140 bhp on a 55 plate,
the other day in the morning I went to start the car and when I turned the key just one nosh a funny noise started (before the engine turned on) I took the car to a mahanic and he advised that the EGR valve has gone and needs replacing, however a couple of hours later when I went to start the car it was fine, no noise and all was good....
Later that week I fuelled the car up and when I started the car the engine management appeared with the message "emissions workshop"
I was just wondering if anyone could let me know if the 2 issues are connected? and also how much this could cost to repair....
I have been told this could just be a faulty sensor but if anyone could advise that would be great!
