throttle delay

Anybody else noticed this with there ibiza 1.4 10 plate, when pulling away from junctions there is a long delay inbetween pressing the pedal and the car actually moving.the car has been like this since new just wondered if anybody else has had this and reported it to the dealers.

it's a "feature", due to the "fly by wire" throttle system, my 1.6tdi does it too, i can floor the throttle and take my foot off it completely before the revs rise if i'm quick enough

Yes mine does this, but its definitely been more noticeable since the software was updated to fix an unrelated issue.
