View Full Version : 16v Exhaust problems
Has anyone had any problems with the exhaust on their Arosa Sport?
Ive had mine for a year now and i had to have it replaced from the car back about 6 months ago after it started to make a rattling noise. I am now going to have to get the local dealership to have another look at it as their now seems to be a hole in it.
Are their any known faults with this exhaust or have any of you guys experienced any similar kind of problems?
i have had my 16v for 4 mths. haven.t had anty problems with the exhaust yet but am expecting them as every time i wash the car or it rains the water runs of the bumper and down the angled tail pipe. Where exactly is your hole rotten through.
On the note of problems i am having trouble with the remote central locking. is any one else? The dealer has diagnosed it as a key head problem ut the parts are on backorder from seat suggesting the problem is widespread.
I've got an Arosa 16v and the passenger lock stuck locked the second day a had it, they ordered a replacement and that had the same fault. But third time lucky.
Im not 100% certain there is a hole in my exhaust but it is a lot noisier than normal. Going to have a proper look at the weekend.
So far the exhaust is the only thing i have had any problems with.
I have an Arosa 1.0 S, and the remote central locking is a bit hit and miss. Sometimes on pressing the un/lock button, the light on the fob flashes and it doesn't un/lock, sometimes it doesn't do anything but only occasionally does it un/lock.
Is this a keyfob problem? I think it is, because if I bang the fob gently, it seems to increase the chance of a successful un/lock.
Whatever, it's irritating and I'm only at 3500 miles, and the service ain't til July :mad: Can't be arsed to drive to Warrington just for the keyfob either!
As for the 16v exhaust, my brother hasn't had any problems, although his car is only a month or so old...
