I lowered it a little more today, but this doesn't show as it hasn't had time to settle in yet. I gave it a good clean and a coat of Zymol Creame and went looking for some nice places to take some photos.
I hope you like...if you like, or even if you don't like, say so below :)
Very nice.
Here's my scenic pics all the way from the Swiss alps:
The second one is my favorite pic ever. Make me sad I sold the old girl :(

EDIT: Sorry, the pics are HUGE!
you see, now that i do like tom, wheels suit the car to a T :)
Cheers guys!
Garth, I would love to have photos in a rugged environment like that, but there aren't around here, only mud and horse shite :( Your pictures do look very good though, much better than the ones from my camera.

Lookin good mate.. but WHERE ARE THE DUCKS!? EH??? :p
Got bored with the ducks, and thought that the car wouldn't be able to get onto the green with the ground clearance being different this time!
Jesus the car looks nice!! The drop is perfect now! I like it especially seen from the rear quarter (pic 2). How much did you say the offset of the wheels is? I just put my summer wheels on last night and they said ET43... IIRC the TT's are ET35, am I right?
ET32 mate!
Surprisingly they just clear at the front.

Looking good Tom always nice to see your car move along! I love the rims! They look excellent with the drop!
I remember someone saying that those rims didn't suit the car! LMAO :bleh: But if take styling advice from a person like that u might end up with a "car" looking like the last pic in my sig ;)
These are some old pics of my car that are scenic but scince then the major changes visually are the fogs have changed to round projector ones, clear side repeaters and grooved discs. Haven't got any up to date scenic pics. :hide:
What's going on?
I open this thread expecting to see some nice pix of everyone's favourtite french mini-mpv, and all I can see are SEATs in the countryside. :thumbd:
LOL! I'm sorry to disappoint Mik!

Car looks really nice Tom.
For the next trick, we should meet up and get photos of both our cars doing weird and wonderful things :p
Car looks mice Tom, not quite as scenic as my last pics ;)

You been climbing trees again?
:)
Andy, come to one of the next MK meets and we'll do a photoshoot! ;)
Ross, unfortunately you know we don't get scenary as good as that. If only...
Anyway, pic 3 was only up a little verge. My camera seems to make all my pictures look far away.

Tom what suspension have you got on your car? It looks magic like that! :worship: Ive got 17's on my car, but Ive not touched the suspension at all yet. Its looking 4X4ish at the moment :thumbd: Is it practical to have it that low? All of my friends who have been driving for years advise me against lowering the car, but I do really want to do it as it looks so much better.

Andy, come to one of the next MK meets and we'll do a photoshoot! ;)
last time I tried to do that, my car ended up in the dealers for a couple of weeks :(
I'll go hunt for the relevant thread, and see if I can make it.
djrichard, KW Variant 1 Coilovers. £530 delivered + fitting and alignment. My car scrapes the inner arches on tight bends and potholes now, but the ride is very good. I'm not raising it!
I ran my 1400 16v Ibiza on standard suspension when I had it last year and it was an embarrasment. Get it done, even if it's Eibach 30mm springs!
Andy, its the 23rd!

Thanks. Well Im definetly going to get the car lowered, just how much Im not sure. You see I use the car everyday for work and there is normally two adult passengers in it, so Ihave to bear that in mind when Im deciding what to do. I dont know anything about lowering cars, or much about cars in general! :) I just know that they look better the lower they are, but I do want to drive it without wrecking it too!!!
Go for Eibach 30mm springs then.
I've still carried passengers at that height with no problem, but it all depends on what you want the car to be.
