Can anybody tell me if Vag-com can be connected to a Mk2 Ibiza 1.8 16v please? And if so where the socket is.
It's not my car, and I don't want to start removing trim needlessly.

Yes, it's in the glove box under the steering wheel to the left as you look in.
There's not a lot it will tell you on the mk2 though. I used it to diagnose a fault with the abs. Apart from this, it'll tell you limited things on the engine, but that's about it!

Thanks for the info. I actually only want to check for any engine problems so that's ideal (and having a Corrado myself I'm used to just having only engine & abs diagnostics).
