Does a chargecooler on an Ibiza Cupra replace the smic, or does it work in conjunction with it?

the Pace one will take it out and the core goes where the smic used to be and the pre-rad goes in the front bumper
As Shane said above.
You don't need the SMIC when you have a chargecooler. I've given mine some hard riving and then I opened the water reservour and stuck my finger in the water... it was still as cold as tap water (Cold tap)! :)
Car feels much better with it too.

Chargecoolers are good in cars where space is an issue (eg. The Ibiza).
There are lots of pros and cons of both a CC and a FMIC. Ultimately an FMIC is much simpler and IF one of sufficient size can be fitted in the Ibiza then it may be the best option (For track use). There is a lot of good work being done by some guys on this site (Shock_xe and Addo) and their FMIC looks promising.
So far my chargecooler has worked excellently and I've yet to get the water to warm up at all... but I've yet to try it on track. Apparently my pre-rad is twice the size of the pre-rad PAce make for 400bhp Cossies.

I think they are about £900 fitted normal price, but Pace done mine for £600+V fitted.
