My mate who made my nice new sig is a mini man and over on miniresource.com but he said he popped over here to check what my sig looked like in action and was amazed by the site, said it was very informative and had a very active forum, he :-o at the no of online users which was at 100 or so.

So i just wanted to pass on his  for a great site and forum, and to keep up the hard work.

There are many many great people on here and its great that they stick around, and that the site doesnt get overrun with kids or boy racers, i like to think we are the more mature and grown up Petrol and Derv Heads around, we offer great informed advice and help, plus also have a laugh when we want as well.

so a big pat on the back from me and also my mini friends :worship:

Keep up the great work! heres to the rise and rise of SCN

oh yeah, you quickly became established as one of my two "must-see" forums, the ones I check back on most days (if not most hours I'm online) . If this place was full of arrogant t*ssers you wouldn't have seen me for dust.

I'm already quite fond of a few of you, in an online way, of course. ;)

you calling me an old git (damn i am)

as for boy racers - i hearby confess to jacking up the back end of a vauxhall viva to fit a red fog light above the 5 wheel silver painted rear axle - but then in my defence 10 of us :-o then decided to leave it that high with some 15*10" rims on the back - after a lets do 24hrs and see what happens suggestion?? i was awoken 5 hours later with the sound of an angle grinder chopping it into a pickup and 4 guys ramming a 3.9 rover v8 in it - damn that car was the best fun we had all summer - laid rubber like no other

mates mum wasnt too chuffed though when she got home it was her car  cost us all £30 to buy her a new one LMFAO money well spent

Yup surprised by the quality of this website (and all who sail in her !) Just feel a wee bit out of my depth with all the technical jargon.

Agree with Alan and Keebo.. I stumbled upon this site about 2 years back and if it had been full of people I couldn't stand I would never have come back

Well done all! :D

But I bet some people in the "real" world can't understand how easy it is to get 'involved'?

I'm the cupranet paradox.

I'm the human version of car crash TV.

You know I'm going to write rubbish...but somehow you are compelled to read it..

I seem compelled to spend all my waking hours on here so it must have something (I now no longer have an outside life!) and my kids love the smilies even though they aren't in the least bit interested in cars (thank God!).
So a pat on the back to all of you!!! Especially the admins......
