Ibiza 1.4 suspension - ride question

right, just to add to the various suspension threads! :D
I fitted 20vt shocks with ventura/bilstein -30mm lowering springs to my girfriends early 1.4, the handling is ace, ride height a bit high ...but! the ride quality is rock solid - 10X stiffer than my coilovers!! She's finally nagged me into doing something about it. Now the question is; Which bit is causing the super hard ride A) the shocks B) the springs ? there is no bounce or excessive recoil after bumps so I guess the shocks are man enough for the springs

anybody else using 20vt suspension on their mk2 with different springs who can comment on the ride?

ventura's are quite stiff springs scotty,these are fitted to sprinline kits which are also quite stiff,so i imagine its yer springs amte,stnd cupra suspnsion is usually the first things people swap as its too soft,for hard driving.
conclusion:its yer springs

Will let you know what the handling's like on mine when I fit 20vT shocks with std 1.4 springs... to begin with anyway ;)

do the 20vt shocks fit straight on to mk2s then?
how much are they from seat as i mite stick some on mine before i lower it.
another thing though is if you fit 20vt shocks then want to order lowering springs do you order them for a 20vt or for a normal ibiza??

You will need mk2 springs as the mk3 ones will foul the turrets IIRC
