Saw the long term test in this week's Autocar (13 April) on the Skoda Fabia vRS and they gave the performance figures the road tester got out of the long term test car on what they described as a "freezing cold" February morning at Millbrook.

0-60mph = 8.2 seconds
30-70mph = 7.6 seconds
0-100mph = 24.4 seconds

Pretty impressive for a 130bhp diesel and virtually mirrors the figures they quote in the back of the mag for the Ibiza TDi Sport - I suppose it should do having the same engine!!

The report really praised the car and the engine, except for a couple of niggles, including body roll on twisty roads

:)

Tis a good little car, especially with better suspension and a 'bit' more poke ;)

Not too shabby, only about 13sec slower to 100 than the Porker. :bleh:

205 bhp and 330 lb ft,

But being re written again as a on going development, not more power just ironing a few bits out.

But its bloody silly.

I see you've got miltec and different turbo as well, but what did it produce when first chipped and also as standard on rolling road?

As Autocar seem to do the best road test figures, you should get them to do a run in yours!! Now that would be interesting

Produced 140 bhp and 269 lbft as std.

After stage 1 remap it put out 182 bhp and 326 lb ft

Torque hasnt increased much since the turbo and Milltek purely because we have capped it off at 330 for safety reasons (i.e I dont want to replace the flywheel just yet). Our Old PD Golf run the same set up at 220 bhp and 340 lb ft, but in the Fabia as it is its just way to much.
