Hi all.
I have a Ibiza 97, and I wonder where to "lay" all cables from the front in the car, to the amp in the back!?

One cabel from the battery, one "signal-cable+remote" from the headunit, and then the speaker cables...
Is there a way to remove all the door-lists ?

Thank you / Rikard

ps. Excuse my english,, it isn´t the best :) ds.

Hi Rikard,

Your english is very good mate, don't worry, better than some of the english members... :D

If you have a RHD Ibiza then the power cable is best going down the passenger side and the signal and remote are best either down the centre of the car or down the drivers side.

Normally it's best if you feed the power cable down the side of the car which the battery is on as this means you need a slightly shorter cable and it's not snaking it's way around the car so much.

When you talk about door lists I assume you mean either the door cards ( the inside skin of the doors ) or the trim around the door opening..

Either way they can all be removed by looking for the few screws that can be in some pannels and then they pull off. Most of the pannels in the car are mostly heald on by various types of clip and are "push fit"

Hope that helps,

Pete

Since your car is a LHD and your battery probably is fitted on the
left side of the car; this is the side to route your power cable.
Low-level, remote and speaker cables on the right hand side of the car.
Make sure the low-level cable stays clear of existing
cabling in your car as much as possible (or it may cause noise).

BTW Rikard: Välkommen (=Welcome, in swedish).
If you have any other questions; feel free to send me an email.
