Howdy,

question for any ICE experts out there,

I want to wire up 2 amps, one for some speakers on the rear shelf and another for a sub, i want to use the High level outputs from the head unit, (IBIZA 20VT so no RCA's :-( ). can i wire them in paralell off one set of outputs? the amp inputs shoulld be high impedance so i guess there'd be no problem! just dont want to kill the HU and wondered if anyone has done it before.

as i said i cant see the problem, but analogue is a pain in the arse!

all stereo's should have digital optical out, kill the noise problems etc! suprised no-ones done this??

cheers

Woody.

p.s. if there's any other nice way to get some half decent sound out of that HU can u let me know? gonna get CD player then sort the speakers, i've already changed the front door speakers to some pioneers from my last car, they sound good but i want some more bass!

Saul has a Rockford 4 channel amp and that's running off the rear speaker outputs of the HU. He's had to split the wires to run both front and rear because the high level inputs are separate. He's had no problem running like this as far as I know but his head unit isn't running any speakers anymore as the amp is powering the fronts and sub, and the rears have been disconnected..
