60k miles or 6 years. Just had mine done (with tensioner) for less than £60 all in. Seat wanted to charge £170.
Lucky You Getting Qouted 170 I Am Getting Between 230 And 300 To Change If It Needs It.

It's not hard to do, the same as loads of Golfs etc so pretty much any garage can do it for a lot less than Seat. The belt itself only costs a tenner.

is it also 60k miles for an 2001 ibiza cupra?

I had a feeling it was 100k miles on the 1.8T but I could be completely mistaken.

Anybody else know?
and in case you miss the ironic point in that one...
do it when you're starting to wonder when rather than 'at' the suggested point
80,000 miles on the 1.8T
Id advise changing the roller and also the damper for the tensioner as these can leak causing loss of tension on the belt.
Worth having a quick feel of the water pump aswell.
