View Full Version : Changing REV DV - Guide

I say 2 as I kept dropping the one bolt into the engine bay. So make sure you have one of them long magnet thingys LOL.

4 Bolts to undo, 3 hold the DV in place and the 4th is the bracket to secure it too. Took me all of 10 minutes.

Below is a picture of the old one I removed next to the revised dump valve.

Here is the housing for the dump valve once it has been removed.

here is the new DV replaced and fastened. The top left bolt is the one you need to do last as you need to pull the DV down to fasten the rear bolt.

is this the one that will fit on the fr too as i think my standard one has poped lol

Do you have a picture of the top of the car en a arrow in which corner. Mine is broke also, i already got another revised model so i want to change this to and you say its easy :)

if you have a fr its a bitch to do as its right at the back next ti the turbo you will need ramps :(

Aahh, yes i got a FR from 2006. Is it possible from above? Or is it a long time work :p

Yeah I have no idea where it is located on the FR mate so sorry as mine is the cupra and it is on top at the front right hand side of the engine.

if u can get it on a ramp it will make it a 15 min job
