View Full Version : Specs/Info on the 20VT 1.8T Engine
Hi folks,
Can anyone help me in locating a resource for specs/information on the Leon 20VT's 1.8T engine (or, I suppose, the Golf or A3)?
I've had the 20VT on order for a couple of weeks (taking delivery early-mid November) and I'm looking to learn a little about the engine before I start to drive it. http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/wink.gif
Even a general information resource on the car itself would be useful, as the dealer I'm dealing with is generally unable to provide any of this material, and the SEAT website is too general.

If possible, it'd be nice to link in some general theory on the operation of a turbo engine in general, too.
Intercooler, dump valve, waste gate, etc. etc.
Just an idea, but I know it interested me when I was choosing between a turbo and a normally aspirated motor.
