What does Implausible Signal mean?
What could it mean on a central lock which seems to work properly?

Its not getting a signal its expecting... eg like a brake pedal switch that does'nt, but the ecu expects it to.... does same thing.
I see. I'm still wondering what could be wrong with that lock (it's a B5 Passat not my car). It is working.

had a similar one with my passenger door, but it has never failed to work yet, also something like "battery low volts" altho' the battery(car) has never been flat it has been disonected by the stealership. cleared the fault but not as yet rechecked to see if they've come back
low voltage code is OK, but this lock thing?! interesting.

Could very well be a wire that is disconnected or shorting out, as the ecu expects the circuit to be 'always on'
