I've been looking at getting a good boost gauge and maybe an oil tem pgauge too for my LCR, but have now come accross this bit ofclever kit (http://www.techreactions.com/efu.htm), the downside is it seems to be for pre 2001 Audis only.

Has anyone had any experience of this product, could it be used for the Seat brands as well ?

it's way cool isn't it - couldn't believe it when i saw it and read about the functions it can do - no unsightly mess of lots of gauges either - fantastic and about £300

What's the Forge DIN item you refer to ?

I know that says A3, but I couldn't be assed to load all their site.

Leo, go back to their home page and click "vision" - post 2002 cars....

Wonder how it would work with the display being a different size. Heads Up Display  Bluetooth communication with other devices  Air intake temp. Even better than the LED boost gauge that got (some) or us excited

Doesn't say that it is available now though.

Edit: Wouldn't want one of those Forge things sticking out my dash though.

Nope, tried that and can't find anything to do with 'vision' :(

Aha found in in electronics, pretty steep price tag though, almost £500 once you add P&P and VAT :(

Does sound excellent bit of kit though.

FIS sounds and looks better if it will work in Leons ?

Looks like the FIS is the same as the EFU Version 1.2, and the one listed under vision (as in "Development Vision") will be their new version, design for CAN motors and will be known as EFU G2 (Generation 2 perhaps?).

Did you read the FAQ? It says something about VW trip computers not having a radio line, which sounds more like the Leon, and having to wait for the VW G2.

£500? Didn't see that anywhere.

I'm going to go over to forge to see if their version works ok with my car

if it does - then I'll probably get it & people are going to be welcome to try it on theirs

It just depends aparrently whether the ECU 'knows' what the sensor is reading rather than the sensor just displaying the info...

Makes sense. Says on the website that the G2 will just hook into the ECU whereas the v1 needs new/additional sensors. Found these;

Perahps even get a group buy organised then ? if it works well of course ?

Worth enquiring about when your there then.

I was looking at the one mOrk linked for almost £500 all in (£399+p&p + vat) :-o

LOL i was looking on the Forge site for something that said vision   okay i'm up to speed now.

Let us know how it goes mOrk, i'm sure there will be a few enthusiasts on here who want the kit too.
