Bit of a naff question but I need to track down a Dealer that was a SEAT francise but has now either changed names or gone "Non-SEAT" !

I'm after a dealership which was called "Seaking" & I'm not sure in what part of the UK but likely to be Watford area or N/East England.....

SEAT HQ have deleted the record of this dealer's phone number or address. I need to track him down for an old service record.

Directory enq...WWW all revealed nothing !

So any longterm members recall this dealer ?

Hi, Seaking have gone bust in 2001/2. They were owned by Inchcape and after they lost every major importer inc Sothern importer of VW/Audi they closed.

I used to work for them but you know ... rats and sinking ships.

They also had offices:
Sheerness, kent - Head office
Portbury - Bristol
Avonmouth - bristol

Inchcape uk would be the people to speak to but the likley hood of you abeang able to get what you want is slim ... i think but worth a go !

www.inchcape.co.uk -

They werent a dealer but as above PDI and supplier to fleet/rent-a-car companies

johnny_M, thanks for that bit of info...............I had finally after alot of calls got a contact called Paul Selleck at Inchcape (I think cos I went round in circles) however this guy is long term sick & due back this week so I will contact him. As you say I personally don't think I will get the service record I require.......although I do know that they did the servicing I've no "written proof". I'm assuming this guy was responsible for the winding up of the business & to try & locate any records at all for my registration would be mammoth task !

Anyway, thanks again,

Paul
