Hi all, new to the forum!
I bought this car in October last year, it was fine until 2 months later it wouldn't start one day. After wrangles with the used car dealer, he agreed to fix it, turns out it was a faulty timing chain come off, it had caused damage to the valves which had to be replaced. They'd never really worked on Seats before and had to get advice about how to do it.
Anyway, picked the car up, but over christmas i've noticed that it judders slightly when stationary, not always but fairly often. Just assumed this was normal, maybe i was looking for a fault etc. However, the last couple of days it's developed another fault, which is that when i accelerate there's no power. It eventually builds up enough to change into 2nd, same problem, no power, and so on.
The dealer has said to bring it back in tomorrow, but before i do that i just wondered if anyone knows what it could be or has had a similar fault? I had to get trading standards involved last time and would ideally prefer to not have to do that again if it's an easy fix.
