After ready many discussions on which wheels to choose I need some advice due to the differing opions.
I am looking at either of the 2 sizes 16x7" or 17x7". Which is going to be better both on and off track. I am also going to fit a big brake conversion to my car 4 pot calipers etc. So which ever wheels I fit will have to provide enough clearence.
Please help.
Looking at also fitting nuespeed 26mm anti roll bars front\rear, omp sway bar (lower strut brance) and a OMP upper front strut brace. Leaving suspension standard at mo. May consider lowing it later with coilovers so the wheels must fit also with all the other mods, ie sutible clearence etc. I do not want to modify the arches at all. :thumbup:
As long as you get close to the right offset (et38), then either size wheels will go on with no arch mods.
If you want looks, then get 17's, but the rise will suffer. 16's are a much better option in my opinion. The car hadles better with 16's and the ride is a lot less harsh.
Be warned if you wan to fit the Brembo 4 pot brakes, it's not th diameter of the wheel that's important to clear the caliper, it's the spoke clearance.
Some 16's will fit and some 17's, but not all of both.
Do a search for wheels and brembos on here. There's a thread someone started a while ago listing what wheels fit with Brembos.

yup 16's x 7 . i recently got fondmetal 5800's and love them to bits, fitting kit comes with extra shiney bling bolts! were very well priced too.

I have had a look on AP racing web site and found a guide for clearence. Also would 7.5x16 fit my car without any issues may have found some nice wheels to fit.
The mile migla evo5 or the ev_s need to find out about clearence though.
7.5x16 should fit as long as you don't put spacers on as well. Assuming they're the right offset. Not 100% sure as I don't know how close to the suspension they'll be. Best ask Ibiza Cupra (aka Bill) as he'll know more than me about this.
