while drivin along at 60/70 two days ago my leon tdi seemed to loose all its power and the car seemed to turn off , rolled it to a stop and turned off then on, started up ok and went fine, now yesterday my indicators ahve started doing irregular flashing and sometime not coming on at all , same with hazard lights. now going out this morning i noticed a loss in power with the car, the turbo was taking 2 seconds longer to come in and even whne it did there was a noticalbe drop in power. any ideas to wots causing these problems?
cheers
I'm not sure but it sort of sounds, like a ECU problem. Possible one of the ECU plugs isn't making good contact. I'm really don't know, but deffo good idead making a trip down to the dealer.

took the car to be looked at today and had it plugged into vag com, no faults showed up at all, but funny thing was when i was driving down when i started to drive there the power was back again!!!!!! and no faults, he said a possible maf on its way out an the indicator thing was neeeded to be booked in to trace a fault?? could this problem be seperate and maybe a flasher unit????

It could be seperate things...
The MAF going would not cause the car to die on you though...

could the indicator thing be a bad earth ?? where would ya start to look
Have you had alot of rain over there recently ? it could be water getting into the ECU plug as I have heard that before.
yes agreed this doesnt sound like a dead maf problem, although this is typical for dealers at the moment, as soon as theres a problem with the car they blame the maf, which admittadly is a weak part and they commonly go, but i think some of them dont bother to look past the maf.
