Hi guys i've posted this on other sites to no avail so if anyone can help me out please
Ive got an AUQ mk4 golf and i'm having some engine trouble so here go with the seemingly endless saga of this car recently
I've had it mapped by ****** stage 2 custom with THS front mount car was running brilliant could'nt fault it.However just after the MAF gave up the ghoust so i changed it (OEM Bosch unit) car was back running sweet then the car developes a slight flatspot and misfire on startup for about 2 mins then clears and drives fine then couple weeks later eml light comes on my scanners tells me the 02 sensor B1 P1 so changed that (OEM Bosch ) that got rid of the fault code but still misfire and slight flatspot. I then think it must be the coilpacks so call vw to be told they on recall and mine is on the list to be change (result i thought free repair for the problem i've got) so they change all 4 coilpacks car feels better flatspot not so noticable but still misfire on startup and now the eml has come back on scanner saying 02 sensor B1 P1 again
I've called ****** to ask about this but as we all the know it's difficult to diagnose over the phone i asked if it could be the map but the guy said he did'nt think so
Could it simply be the temp sender causing all these problems as i have noticed the temp gauge goes up and down not constant at 90 or is it something else
i'm at the point of i've had enough of this and it needs sorting or i'm just gonna get rid
all help gratefully recieved
Jon
