One way of bypassing the question of exceeding a declared/estimated annual mileage is simply to say that other people have driven your car whilst covered on their OWN insurance policy, as part of the clause -
"Cover is extended for the policy holder to drive any other car not owned, reg'd or forming part of a hire agreement - Third Party Cover Only" -
which most Full Comp policies have.
A simple get out for anyone who exceeds their annual mileage! :D :D :D
