Hi guys,

Hopefully going to be ordering rod's from yourselfs tomorow.

What im wanting is rods for the engine code "AQX" virtually the same as AYP i think?? its a 2000 ibiza cupra

Also.. what are the benifits of using callico 0.001 or 0.000 bearings??

Also, do you give all the correct tollerances in the kit for torquing up all the bolts etc etc? as wanting everything done perfect for my hybrid route im going to go as im planing on after doing the rods, i dont need to do anything else internally untill i decided ill get bored with the power im going to reach (280-300bhp 300+ ibft of torque)

and the rods are going to be the first step im taking, so running this on standard boost and standard turbo isnt going to change my compression ratio are they?

Thanks guys ~Cammy

Took me a while to track down an answer for you, but the AQX engine code uses 20mm pinned rods.

On the bearings, we only recommend extra clearance in extreme high horsepower applications such as road course or rally etc. For your project I would certainly recommend the standard clearance bearings.

The rods will also come with install guidelines, which include all the necessary torque specs.

Thanks dave, it seems to work out fairly more cheaper than what BDM have quoted me, whats the worth of % on import duty, and tax, that would see this price go up a little?

Ive researched it all, but no luck whats so ever to what it is, just says it can be a random % to any country, it dosent state the US one atall.

I think your import duties over there are about 20-25%, really not sure though.

Our VAT Rate is 20% Dave, would that be the import duty? or are you including the tax too?
