Forge Dump Valve

Sorry to be apain for you all but this question has probably been asked before ... The 'forge' dump valve which replaced the standard Seat one.

Has anyone had problems with Seat warranty ?
Does this improve performance ?
Can you tell its been fitted ? - i.e. can you hear this like some dump valves (whoosh sound)

I hear that the best way is to remove it before going for a service, is this neccasary ?

Basically myself and my brother both have one of these cars and was wondering weather to make this mod.
