taking delivery of Leon very soon and need two Din size slots in the centre of the dashboard. I was hoping to fit new headunit in place of the Hazard switch and cup holder! does anyone know if this can be done? whats behind them?and where do you suggest I move the switch to.If moving the cupholder etc. is not viable can i get rid of the ashtray or has anyone seen built a unit to join the bottom of the dashboard and the centre console

off the top of my head without looking , just an idea

how about the centre console insert from a toledo with SAT NAV ?? may need to adapt it a little but better than moving a load of switches etc ????

from the pictures I've seen the sat nav in the seat's are about 5" square will that give enough room?, also car is LHD Cupra4 with champane/silver finish, would you be able to order a part the same colour, Flapper the cost of replacement RHD headlight units are about £260 do you know of any Moretti twin headlight conversion for the Leon they can't be more than an extra £100, and the output would be much better:cool:

cheers for the pic flapper have ordered the part today going to have a go at doing it i know i have to lose the ashtray at the bottom of the console but as i dont smoke that wont exactly bother me then it looks like a case of moving the air con control unit lower in the console to gain yourself a double din slot
dont know if it works but well give it a try for nothing
ill let everyone know how i go on

three words "dont try it"
had everything to pieces today and there is no way to make everything fit without very major modification or buying the other pieces from seat which include the seat toledo sat nav centre console which is £200 on its own without any brackets or anything else my advice is try to find a centreconsole out of a scrapper even if you do buy the bits you will have to modify your
climate control to make everything fit
you have been warned:devil:
