I downloaded the attached picture from the forum some months ago and I'm doing the exact thing myself.

I need help for construction.

1. Should I sound proof the boot flor and with what.

2. Should this wooden construction be fixed to the boot or should I just put it in without fixing it. Will it jumb un and down without it.

3. How should I take signal from the cables from the rear speakers. Should I take it from one rear speaker or plus (+) from the right and mi us (-) from the left. I'll use high level input.

4. Does someone have any skatches about this matter.

5. Any other information would be appreciated.

I know it sounds like I'm a total lamer, but I wanna make this right.

P.S: Sorry for posting the picture without author approval, but I forgot who it was. He did a great job!

Thanks

I think thats part of the install from Russell Heywards car.
So he would probs be the man to ask about that.

definately sound proof the car first before any install work
the picture is of a diamond subwoofer but it,s just been placed in the boot floor trying to use the wheel well as an enclosure
a proper box would sound a lot better
whatever you install in the car make sure you fasten it down securely otherwise you may stop dead but the ten inch sub you have in the boot may still be doing 70 mph and go straight through the back of your head.
not a pretty sight

Make yourself a proper box for the sub and it'll sound a lot better. But definatley lay down some sound proofing. You can use dynamat but a product called brown bread is almost as good and is much cheaper..

One thing though. Don't put your amp upside down like the one in the picture. That amp is probably "OK" as it has a fan built in for cooling but without that it would probably over heat. Putting an amp upside down is not a good idea you'll toast it..

As for using the high level inputs, you'll need to use both + and - inputs from both speakers. The high level input on the amp should have 4 wires..
