Looking to buy my first Alhambra ( probably 130PD SE ) to accomodate a growing family. I've visited a couple of dealers and read through most of the Alhmabra related threads on here.

I'm toying with a new purchase from either a dealer or a broker - the latter being preferred as I should be paying less. I've ruled out an import due to poor exhange rate at the mo. and the other import hassles. I would prefer a UK sourced and supplied car.

One broker I spoke to indicated that the dealer margin on these vehicles is in the region of 6 - 7 % therefore this was what I should be aiming for.

Anybody able to point me towards any brokers which can be recommended for a Seat purchase ? I'm aware of the Micronetshowroom from other posts but few others spring to mind.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks - 3g.

Hi,

I would be willing to sell you a new Alhambra at 7% discount. You can contact me on 01724 843716 or e-mail me at rustys.rustys@virgin.net. Don't worry about the name, long story, we are a long establised Seat dealer.

Hope to talk to you soon,

James

Thanks James but that would be far too easy and ruin all the fun on my part in searching for a better deal.

I've already had a verbal quote from a local dealer which equates to a discount of between 8 - 9 %. I am trying to understand how much margin a dealer has on these vehicles and therefore how much more they could be squeezed.

I will out of courtesy contact you at my point of purchase to see if you can better the cheapest quote I've managed to get.

Thanks - 3g

No probs, enjoy your best deal hunting!!!! :banghead2

If you've been offered discounts of 8%-9% you've done well, and you'll struggle to get a dealer to offer you any more, unless you go for x-demo, import etc.

Let me know you're best deal when the time is right and i'll see what i can do!!

Good luck,

James
