View Full Version : AARRGGHH - Just got soaked
Just got in my car and wound down the window (drivers side) a touch as I was having a ciggy, as soon as I accelerate or turn a corner a flood of water comes off the roof and directly into the car all over me and the inside of the door (over the electric window control's). :(
I had this problem with the Leon but it seems a lot worse in the Ibiza, I know the goverment are trying to stop us smoking but i did not think SEAT were in on it as well

Used to annoy me on my old Ibiza SE, but not so much on the Toledo, The Ibiza suffers more due to the design of the top of the door rubber and where it meets the roof panel, the 'gutter' along the roof is almost non existent, and is only slightly better on the Toledo / Leon.
I assume the control's for the electric windows etc etc are sealed and are not affected by water pouring all over them ?

yup i've done that, but it also put out and soaked fag
try opening the door with a roof full of snow - it drops right on the drivers seat! (if its that cold I would prefer to get the car started before clearing the snow and ice away, just have to remember to clear the door beforehand)
