I'll ask him also surely not much between revo and apr as both around same hp also £245 good price
How is the apr not as quick? I dont know could be right just wondered how you know. Sometimes a conservative map gives more piece of mind to customer. When I first had my jabba done I asked to keep torque low(er) but have no had the fuller fat version put on.

They were in a tuning mag with theyr stage 2 polo gti with semislick tyres, lightweight wheels, custom intake and custom intercooler. On a dragstrip in australia they did 1/4 mile in 14.1. Ill have a look in the mag 2mz
Most revo stage1 cars are sub 14seconds
Its nit a comparable 1/4 mile time though, different altitude, temps etc.
Also that test didn't have the intercooler fitted.
That was just a V1.0 stage 2 map, tbe and intake. Running 220hp. This is the link http://goapr.com.au/media/mm-june2011.pdf
Now there is a V2.0 remap out. Also APR do a stage 2+ and 3 map which revo won't touch.
Mines going to be running stage 2+ hybrid APR fileby this weekend.
I was torn between revo and apr for an adjustable remap but cchose APR as I felt more confident in their reliability.plus revo said they will not go further than stage 2. Even when hurdy is sat waiting with a hybrid turbo needing a map.

Im sure it said in the mag it had an intercoler. And revo claim 10bhp over that for stage2 without ic or intake. Was just going on what i read. Bt like you said, theres a new version so could possibly be quicker. Regardless of this, the fact they have stage 3 available means they have now taken the torch over frm revo and would be my choice of tuner if i was to start from scratch
I may well be going down the APR route myself. My mods are very similar to VRsy's but I will also have water methanol injection and a high octane stage 3 map would be my target with rods and pistons onboard. [B)]
Just have to keep our fingers crossed that APR may do a DSG map as well at some stage, then it would be game over for Revo on the 1.4 TSI platform.
