Hello would somebody be able to tell me what is Seats stance is on retaining the standard 3 year warranty when the car is remapped? Would any remap invalidate the warranty? Or are there certain performance remap companies that would honour the warranty?

Thanks in advance

It will void the warranty mate, unless you have a REVO freindly dealer in the pocket.

Thanks for the fast response, when you say Revo friendly dealer are you referring to the dealer I purchased the car from? or where I could potentially get the work carried out..?

The second one unless your dealer you bought the car from is happy to honor warranty. Try speaking to them about it.

The problem is they can always dig on your ECU and know it has been remaped even if you change back to stock.

Right? o.O

I don't fancy getting my car remaped until all this piston/piston rings/oil/misfire issues get sorted.

Probably never, yeah. :censored:

What Revo's SPS does is simply reduces the power output to a lower amount so to drive it is no differnet. It doesnt put the original map back on from what I've seen/read.
