Cordy/Ibiza 2001 HU

I got an Alpine HU installed under the steering whell.
The standard radio which is built into the heater controls now turns itself on and it has lost some of its red glow at night time.


Any Ideas hoe to fix it.?

sounds like the dimmer feed has been either disconnected or is permenantly live or something.

Who fitted the HU?

A local car audio fitter. It was his first time installing a HU under the sterring wheel of a Seat.

I'd take it back and ask them to check the setup. I bet he's made a bodge on the wiring somewhere.
