Since you only ever turn them on under conditions of very poor visibilty, is it worth it?

A quick search will bring up how to change the fog light bulbs, might even be in the FAQ section somewhere.
You're ECU might have fog light diagnostics enabled (depends on the spec lottery) so you may get an error on the dash if you change your bulbs to LEDs.
I have changed fog bulbs in my MK1 leon to leds and to be honest they look great but they dont put any light on the road. So its only for the looks.

Just change them to Ultras to get a white light, look in the FAQ section and you'll see how to change them with the guide and the results of the Ultra bulbs.
:search:
my friend has done this and whenever the car is awake the lights glow ever so slightly, he likes it but i think it looks somewhat messy.

Guys wait for me! .....
First I changed to the Ultra and to be honest, the Ultra, when raining you hardly notice there is evening light! That goes for the headlight with Ultra too. But I do not deny they do look good. However it is NOT practical in my humble opinion.
Ever since I have changed the headlight to a PHILIPS HID kit bi-xenon(as mine is a single bulb headlight). And I also changed the fog to GM HB4 bulbs which is normal bulb color bulb claims to give 90% more light. So far it is ok this combo.
However after reading the reverse light thread I ordered the CREE reverse light after watching also youtube about the CREE light. NOW......I have also ordered the HB4 CREE bulbs!!!!
Now waiting for their arrival as they are enroute. :)
Stay in tuned!

Well no, but it's usually something which you search for first and also would look in FAQ section.
Maybe its just me being a woman...:p
