Any one like to make a comment on the service recieved from them? As my experience has been poor from sales through to the bodyshop and parts department.

Jon,
Shame you didn't read my post back in august '01, they were useless, and it seems they still are !!

I had a simple but major fault with the break master cylinder and they left me high and dry without a car for over 2 weeks, they ordered the wrong part 3 times and treated me to put it frankly like sh**t ! To top it all off, the car was filthy inside and had the keys thrown at me !
(no apologies either)

Roly works at The motorist centre in canterbury so it must be good :D - but haven't tried them yet.

Grays in sittingbourne seem to be pretty good :D but they did a u turn on fitting my cruse control though:( !

Oho and the sales guy wouldn't take me seriously at Sutton Park !

Bollox !! you had the same treatment i got.
Sales staff arrogant. Service staff even worse.

Luckily being a student i have a fair bit of spare time on my hands, to pursue my complaints. Got my car sorted out in the end after 15 visits over 3 months to rectify the badly fitted spoiler (by them predelivery).

Managed to get a complimentary free first service out of them. I'm not sure whether to use it may cause me more problems than it's worth.

I agree the motorist center are probably one of the best garages i or any one i know have dealt with. Sales staff helpful and service parts dept don't come recommened highly enough.

Must be a problem at sutton park with giving people keys every time i've been there my keys have been thrown back!!!

To be fair, they have been very helpful over warranty repairs needed for the satnav on my Toledo. It has been difficult to solve and there has been limited support, I am told, from SEAT technical. The car has been back to Sutton Park three times and on each occasion I have had a courtesy car. This last time they booked me out a car for a week with the intention of solving the problem once and for all. My car returned today, after two days, with the problem solved and more surprisingly the car washed and valeted :) Certainly on this occasion no complaints.

But it would be nice if they had better parking and facilities and if there was a SEAT service price list and technician training certificates on display

Just been for my free 10K service at Sutton Park was nearly impressed all new staff better attitude in service and parts, quick efficent professional manner. Nipped down to sales while i was waiting new staff but not quite there yet!

Got in my beloved to bring it home and my TV wasn't working had a look coudn't see anything obvious. Returned to the service dept mechanic was pulled out and questioned by sales manager no real response vowing to return i left got home and probed a little further to find the main power supply from the battery had come away from the £4.99 grounding loop on the terminal.

Could just be unlucky? but it has taken me over an hour to diagnos and replace.

Labour £50
Parts £4.99

Where do i send the bill !?!?!

Nothing in life is free!!!!!!!!!!!!
