Does anyone know how to fit a sub in a 2000 Ibiza Cupra as there is no way of fitting a new head unit. Can it be fed off the CD changer

I think head unit has pre-out socket for running an amp.

You wont be able to feed it off the Cd changer thats for sure, best take the head unit out and have a look at the connections on the rear, see what's available.

I've done this.
First off, there is NO pre out on the unit!
You'll need to either get an amp with hi-level inputs and use the rear speaker cables as inputs, or get a high-level to rca convertor and then use any amp you want.

fitted one in mine, took remote of back of headunit and used speaker level inputs for the amp from rear speakers.......

No pre-outs on HU

I got an Alpine V12 Amp which has the speaker input connector which works well with no interference

running alpine 10" type R in custom Box moulded to side of boot.
