Anyone flushed and changed it? Is it worth changing it, or simply keep topped up?
Nobody changed it. Take it its good to last and will just keep it topped up.

Most manufacturers say to change at 3yrs as anti-freeze qualities lessen with age but dont know if its true or not.
anti-freeze different usually for ali engines over iron ones.
wrong anti-freeze in ali engines corode the aluminium!(usually arond the headgasket area). :(
2 bottles of the vw pink stuff is pretty cheap ed,especially at the shows,no harm in changing it why not get it checked with a hydrometer,see how its performing?

G12 is the pink stuff, no idea how much cos I know it's not been changed sicne I had the car. No harm in doing it I suppose.
Never had the need to top up my coolant let alone change it (touch wood)
emptied mine out - bit of a git to undo the bottom connection, but once off - well - it just falls out. secure with a new jubilee & fill er up squeezing the big pipe to flow it thru
