Has no-one else ordered one then?
Sorry, only just seen your post.
Yes, I also ordered one (They said they got quite a few orders after the RR day.). I have spoken to them a couple of times now, but I must of phoned them over 40 times since Friday and not once have I had an answer!!!!
I'm not sure whats going on, they were good at answering before!
I've been phoning them so much because they were meant to fit the new kit last weekend but I was meant to phone to confirm that it was ready!
Does anyone know whats happened to them?
Or does anyone else know of anyone else that does Blitz or Apexi indcution kits and are prepared to fit one to an Ibiza? Preferably in the South East.
Thanks
Ben

I ordered mine on my credit card and have't had my bill yet so im not sure if ive been charged for it yet!
Have you been charged yet?
If i do ever get hold of them i will proberly cancel it as their customer service is appaling!
Yes, there customer service is appalling at the moment, but there must be something wrong. 2 weeks ago they were very helpful and always answered the phone, in the past week I must of phoned in excess of 70 times and the phone has not been answered at all!
Maybe its burnt down or something!
No I haven't paid for my kit as I will pay cash on the day.
Does anyone know of another garage in the South East that supply and fit Blitz or Apexi induction kits (And also create splash guards to protect for excess water.)?
I got the impression that DS Engineering was only a couple of guys, so something small like one of them breaking a leg would have a massive impact on their ability to operate (But even with a broken leg they could answer the phones!).
Let me know if you get anywhere.
Ben
I did finally manage to get through, and guess what..... they said that they had been so busy that they had unplugged the phone for the week!!! And they would keep te phone unplugged until monday when they finish the car they are doing for Max Power!
In my opinion thats just bad manners, plain rude even. If they have that much work on the surely they could afford to spend £20 to buy an answermachine with a polite message explaining the situation... or possibly an even cheaper option would be to employ a student to answer the phones for a week.
Anyway, I want the Blitz kit and they have experience of fitting one to an Ibiza and they make their own splash guards, so i guess I'll have to go with them anyway.
Ben
Paul,
What were your 1st impressions of the kit? Nice sound, but did you notice any more power?

Ben
Did they say if the kits where ready?
at last we are getting sumwhere!
I'm also very interested in this blitz filter. Where abouts are DS Engineering based and are they the only people that can fit it.
I guess you're booking your cars in when they finally arrive. It doesn't take long to fit does it?
Do they also provide a custom heatsheild to replace the box? (i've seen this done on other cars).
How much will a kit for the Ibiza set me back?
Cheers

Iam fitting mine myself.
Not sure where theyare based.
The supply a custom water shield as part of the kit for £160 (if they ever get round to finishing them!)
The kits are pretty much finished. They have finally gotten rid of the Max Power project car they have been working on and now they can finally get n with some normal work.
My car is booked in for Thursday to have the kit fitted! :)
The problem is that my car is booked in with a local Seat garage for Monday and I'm not sure if they are mod friendly or whether they will just say that the warantee is invalid due to mods! (I'm only taking it in to fix a squeeky dash!).

BTW, DS Engineering are based near Bluewater, ie. near the Dartford tunnel on the M25..... which is only 30 mins from here. :)
