Hi

I have problem after I changed my stock DV to Forge DV I observed that:

sometimes when I start with full throttle car goes like devil and sometims goes wrong (like stock car),
I’ts easy to observe when I drive slow and suddenly I push gas pedal to the end it goes flat and between 4000 RPM it’s goes for a while faster and then further flat.

It didn’t happend when I drove with the MTM on stock DV.
I have changed this chip not long ago.

Yesterday I changed again for stock DV It seem that this flat effect is gone BUT I think that with Forge (when it works correct) my cupra goes much faster.

Maybe some of you have similar problem, and can help me.
Maybe something wrong with my throttle (sensor or something else- DV is broken, but it is brand new)

Second I won’t to know if it’s normal that my exhaust header after fast driving is red (will be 5 min. enough), my friend driving VW Passat with the same chip made by MTM and he claims that his exhaust header is a bit red after fast driving
I wonder if it’s normal, and everything is ok. with the car.

Best Regards

I changed to my stock DV and everything was fine, but only two days, than the same situation as I wrote
I checked also stock DV with folowing instruction;

"Remove the valve from the car.
Push up through the bottom of the valve onto the silver alloy piston.
Push the piston to the top.
Whilst pushing the piston up at the same time cover the small vac nipple
with your finger, the piston should remain at the top held by vacuum.

This is a test to ensure that the valve is not leaking.
When you remove your finger from the top vac nipple the alloy piston should
spring shut. If this happens all is well with the valve.

After this test seems that stock DV is shity.

I hope that new Forge will work fine.

BTW
People in Forge are very helpful
