Anyone know if Mk2 16V golfs had an option of a LSD ?

I can't see that the massive power of a golf (std) needs one.
maybe on the G60?
as i'm bunking off work today I'll have a look about.

General concesus is that it didn't.
nor the G60 that I can see.
but Quaife do em.... but they're more money!

Quaife LSD seems to be the popular option on this. From memory it's about £500+VAT (plus fitting)...

Erm. no.
I use them personally, and I'm in Glos, so the 120mile trip is worth it I think.
I kno wwhat you mean though. Practicality has to have a baring. :p

Absolutely - needs to be as practical is a lime green bone shaking tire shredding rollcaged buzz box with arse numbing seats, no stereo (not that you would hear it anyhow) and an obscene thirst for fuel ! Next practical addition is an asprin dispenser !
