Found this on vwvortex and thought i would post it here as bods with vag-com might like to know exactly waht they can monitor!!, i have also added some general info from all of my searching through other web sites, and anywhere with anything i though might be of use to me

Sounds like you may have a leaking diverter valve or other boost leak.
With the VAG-COM, do a log on block 115 for a 3rd gear pull from 1500-redline if possible. This will show requested and delivered boost.
Honestly, chips do not get slower over time. The programmed maps for both your Upsolute and your friends' APR chips are stored in Read-Only Memory (ROM).

Ignition ON, engine NOT running.
ECU, TCU, and so on should be as DTC-Free as possible.
Do not touch the gas pedal while doing this!
SELECT -> 01-ENGINE -> BASIC SETTINGS -> Group 060 or 098.(060 on
Drive-by-Wire engines. Most earlier ('96-'99) OBD-II engines use 098)
In the 4th display field, you will see ADP RUN for a few seconds. It
should change to ADP OK. Leave things along for 30 seconds thereafter,
then back out of Basic Settings, Close Controller, start engine and let
idle w/o touching the gas pedal for a minute or two.

First thing is you need ot find out when it is lean, is is lean at idle or part throttle. To cehck this the next time the light comes on , check data block 032 and get abck to us.
Your other option is to go clear the codes, go drive the car at least 10 miles with an average speed of at least 55 or so, just drive normal no full boost runs, but do use some boost. Then check 032 and post what you find.

VAG-COM procedure for unlock all on key removal.
This works for cars with 4 doors
Goto into module 46
Recode to from 04096 to 04097 or from 04098 to 04099 (1st is reg seats, 2nd pwr seats)
Adapt channel 4 from 0 to 1

115= spec boost vs actual boost
118= % closed of wastegate (boost duty cycle)

120 = rpm and torque (to make block 120 graphs)
005 = time and km/hour (good for 0-60 times, etc...)

115 (boost)
120 (Torque)
223 (time & speed with 0.1 km/h resolution)
