Does anyone know how to wire speaker cable straight to the back of the head unit as I have brought some really good speaker cable and do not want to connector block it to the existing cable to run the speaker due to the reduction in quality.

If anyone could provide me with some help on this matter I would be greatly appreciate it.

Also if so, what tools will I need to be able to do the job.

Thanks in advance

Patty

What head unit is it ?

If its the standard SEAT one then I wouldn't bother. You won't notice any difference from a source unit that bad.

If its an aftermarket unit then the speaker outputs will be clearly marked and colour coded but, again you won't notice a huge difference in quality.

The only time you might notice the difference is running separate amplifiers and very good speakers.

If you still want to do it. Then you'll need a crimp tool ( get a good ratchet type one ) and some crimps probably bullet ones would be best for inline connections like speakers. Maplins will stock both of these items.

as Simon says ( :D ) you won't notice much if any difference. I wouldn't bother...
