From reading many of the messages in the forum, this subject seems to have had alot of speculation.
I am a recent owner of a leon cupra with 3000 miles / 5 mths old.
I seem to experience a 'flat spot' most noticable around 5k rpm in 3rd gear - the car feels to loose power & acceleration and seems to produce small 'surging' effects.
The most common diagnosis seems to have been the air flow meter, followed by the lambda sensor. - Is there an easy way to test these at a garage for faults????, or do you have to hound them to change the units??
Any comments will be appreciated
